Company History Twin City was born in 1979 as Stillwell Liquors in Coney Island, New York. Over the next 10 years Mr. Lee developed both his own business and those of the vacant stores alongside his own. The neighborhood flourished, but Stillwell Liquors began to outgrow its roots. In 1989, Stillwell Liquors moved to Jersey City and was renamed Twin City Liquors. Again, the business went through a growth spurt, and in 1997 Twin City Liquors went through its latest expansion to over 6000 square feet and was renamed Twin City Fine Wines & Spirits. Twin City Staff (Click on each name to send an e-mail) Jang Han Lee President "Mr. Lee" as he is usually known, has been involved in the wine and spirits industry for 30 decades. He has a B.S Chemical Engineering from Han Yang University and is known for his involvement in the community and his penchant for sharing stories of his younger years. Mr. Lee has a genuine love for people that is as much a product that people seek Jake Lee Director of Operations Jake has always been immersed in the wine and spirits industry by virtue of his family s business. He relocated to Indiana and managed the K-12 and Higher Education deparments of CompUSA s corporate division. He moved on to become the COO and partner at Vocis Design Group, a web design firm established by Jake and 2 associates from CompUSA. Jake spends his days trying to help grow Twin City and keep it running as efficiently as possible. Silvanus Ramphal Store Manager Silvan has been with Twin City for 16 years. He was previously employed by National Brewing Company, a subsidiary of Heineken, that produced both Heineken and Stag Beers. Silvan is known to be a straight shooter, rarely afraid to share his opinions. Aneil Balraj Assistant Manager Aneil has been with Twin City for 5 years. He helped to support his family catering business in Trinidad for several years before venturing to America for new opportunity and to support his family. Aneil is always willing to point people in the right direction and keeps the atmosphere at Twin City enjoyable. |
